The Jitterbug Smart3 is the perfect device if you want a mix of fun, practicality, and tech features. The home menu gives you all the features you’ll need such as text, phone, camera, email, and internet without having to scroll through extra apps that a typical smartphone would have. You can scroll through the menu and find what you need without tapping too much. You can also easily find the Urgent Response button if you need to reach an emergency operator.
The device can also be connected to hearing aids making it a beneficial tool for adults dealing with hearing loss. The phone also features 32GB of storage so users can save photos and videos of family and friends. The battery can last the whole day and the screen is big, bright, and with great contrast which is friendly to older eyes. Although we like Jitterbug Smart3, we know there are older adults who would still look for something simpler. If you or your family member wants something simple, the Flip2 could be the better choice.

Lively relies on Verizon’s cellular network which is a reliable service. If you want to activate the medical features of the Jitterbug Smart3, you need to get the Health &amp; Safety package separately. This will activate the Urgent Response button you’ll find front and center of the home screen plus other safety features.
The Jitterbug Smart3 has a GPS feature so that the monitoring center can dispatch help to the user’s location whenever they call for help. You will be connected to an operator in less than a minute once the Urgent Response button is pressed.

It is wearable, has built-in GPS, is waterproof, and can accommodate fall detection. It also features two-way speakers and 24/7 emergency monitoring. Just wear the device as a necklace and go wherever you need to. One downside is that the device is a bit bulky when worn as a pendant and might not be the most stylish option. However, most medical alert systems are designed as such since protection is the top priority.
